About Design Ignites Changes
The goal of Design Ignites Change is to harness the power of creativity to foster positive social change. Instilling this ideal in the next generation of creative professionals is core to Design Ignites Change, a collaboration between Adobe Youth Voices and WorldStudio. The students are encouraged to develop actual projects that are visible in, and beneficial to, their local communities; projects that stimulate thought, dialog, action and ultimately change.

Aboout the Corcoran College of Art + Design
Centered on the idea of direct and intense creative education, the Corcoran College of Art + Design is the only four-year college of art and design in Washington, D.C., the nation's cultural capital. The Corcoran's vibrant and active undergraduate community includes more than 300 students pursuing a wide range of Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, and Associate of Fine Arts degrees. The College also offers graduate programs in design, art and the book, art history, and art education, while the College's Continuing Education program offers part-time credit and non-credit classes for pre-college students and adults.

Through Adobe’s Design Ignites Change program participating colleges, universities and high schools encourage their students to develop projects that are visible in, and beneficial to, their local communities. It is the hope that through these means the students stimulate thought, dialogue, action, and ultimately change.

Corcoran College of Art and Design has a long history of excellence in the DC community and beyond. Both the college and gallery support growth and development through continued devotion to education and creativity. The students at Corcoran are encouraged to express themselves freely and explore various means of design and communication. It is through these practices that the college hopes to motivate its students to make positive change in both their lives and the lives of others.
